March 17th St. Patrick's Day

Last night we went out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day NZ style! There were tons of people in crazy green outfits and even some with their hair dyed orange and green. There were many Irish Pub's downtown and they were so packed they had lines of people waiting to get in. One funny story from the night was when we were playing pool some drunk guy came up to our pitcher of beer and dunked his hand in it saying "slam dunk!" My friend Jill went and yelled at him and asked why he put his hand in our beer. She then gave him our pitcher and said, "Here, now go get us a new one". She followed him to make sure he went to the bar and she stood over him while he generously bought a brand new pitcher for us.
